In 2025, Club Bizarre asked me to develop a new visual identity for their underground house events in Maastricht. Club Bizarre stands for the discovery of new places, unheard music and new people.
The challange was maintaining their underground spirit while creating something recognizable enough for consistency, but flexible enough to make each event feel fresh and surprising. I developed a character-based logo that incorporates the letters C and B when flipped. The broken, interrupted lines reflect their core values: breaking out of routine and embracing the unexpected. For event posters, I created illustrative compositions where music, people, and place merge into new worlds, capturing the discovery aspect of their nights. I also designed merchandise that carries the same visual language.
The visual identity has helped them build a recognizable presence in Maastricht's underground scene. Working with a unique underground culture and translating theirvalues into a visual language that feels authentic was something I really enjoyed.
