Tekenvraag is a short film based on a poem written by Koen Op den Drink about his youth. It shows his experiences of confusion, pain, and personal growth. we explored how to translate those feelings into visuals in a way that would enhance and strengthen the poem.
We worked as a two-person team to keep the project focused and coherent. Sharing the same vision allowed us to understand each other, which naturally led to a close and effective collaboration. I also performed in the film to help convey the message and vision as clearly as possible.
The result is a short, poetic short film that reflects on growth, change, and finding freedom within oneself.
